The ALS Association is seeking a mission-driven Development Manager to help manage Walk to Defeat and Distinguished events in Wisconsin. This remote role reports to the Director of Development and collaborates with the Development team to recruit and steward participants, sponsors, and volunteers while meeting fundraising goals.

The ideal candidate builds relationships with supporters, identifies new corporate prospects, and can manage multiple events with strong organizational and communication

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in fundraising, event management, volunteer development and management, public relations, donor cultivation and corporate sponsor cultivation.
• Proficient in generating reports and using donor data to drive outreach.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce/Blackbaud) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Meet an income portfolio goal of $650,000+ across events including Walk to Defeat ALS and the ALS Golf Classic.
• Recruit, steward, and retain event chairs and members; build relationships with community partners.
• Collaborate with Event Experience team and volunteers on logistics, printing, and promotional materials.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines.
• Partner with Care Services staff to involve people living with ALS and families in awareness and fundraising.
• Work with MarCom to achieve marketing and public relations objectives.
• Engage corporate partners, vendors, and donors through meetings and outreach.
• Represent the organization at community events and coordinate print/material distribution.
• Support Territory team and work with the Managing Director, Development, and colleagues.
