Job summary

Blue Star Families seeks a Development Manager to support the Development Department in a fully remote role within the Continental US. You will manage donor data in Salesforce, assist with grant writing, and coordinate stewardship reports while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications include 2–4 years fundraising experience, a relevant Bachelor's or commensurate experience, and strong writing and research skills. Travel for offsites and events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong editing capabilities.
• Experience with donor management and fundraising operations preferred.
• Ability to work in a virtual, fast-paced environment with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex challenges with data, heart, and humility.
• Build cross-sector partnerships to drive measurable outcomes.
• Help military families feel at home wherever they live.
• Accurately create and update Salesforce donor records.
• Take meeting notes with AI and manage follow-ups promptly.
• Schedule appointments using Google Calendar and maintain calendars.
• Support grant writing, stewardship reports, and events.
