Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Development Coordinator to provide high-level fundraising support and advanced administrative assistance to the AVP for Development. The role will coordinate donor engagement, manage major gift pipelines, and support campaigns across multiple academic units with close collaboration across Advancement.

You will draft briefings, tracking proposals, and coordinating events, travel, and communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in development, sales, administration, or higher education.
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud is a plus; experience with events is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for assigned academic units.
  • Manage major gift pipelines and donor communications for fundraising campaigns.
  • Support development campaigns with proposals, talking points, and event planning.
  • Provide advanced administrative support to the AVP for Development and coordinate advisory councils.
  • Prepare regular gift reports and maintain proposal repositories; assist with stewardship.
