Job summary

Brown University is seeking a Development Coordinator to provide comprehensive fundraising and high-level administrative support for the Advancement division. The role acts as a liaison to academic units, manages donor pipelines, and supports advisory councils and events.

Responsibilities include coordinating Director’s/Chair’s Fund campaigns, producing donor talking points, and collaborating with marketing, gift accounting, and stewardship teams to grow the donor pipeline and program impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in development, sales, customer relations, administration, or relevant higher education experience.
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud is a plus.
  • Experience in event management is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate campaigns for Director’s/Chair’s Fund; manage major gifts pipelines; liaison with academic units and donors.
  • Develop and launch fundraising campaigns with marketing, communications, and gift accounting teams.
  • Provide advanced-level administrative support to the Assistant Vice President for Development.
  • Manage meeting/travel arrangements, proposal pipeline maintenance, event support, and other administrative tasks.
