Job summary

CoreSite is seeking a Development & Design Specialist within the Preconstruction team. The role supports design timelines, documentation, communication, and coordination across internal teams and external consultants, helping keep projects moving efficiently.

The position offers growth toward a Design Manager role, with responsibilities including coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and producing portfolio-level reports while collaborating with Design Managers and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or Development or related field preferred.
• Two+ years coordinating architecture, engineering, construction or development projects with stakeholders.
• Experience with consultants, project teams or capital projects during design and permitting phases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer a portfolio of preconstruction projects, tracking schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks and decisions.
• Maintain design documentation, schedules, permitting and entitlement information across multiple projects.
• Support design-review cycles by organizing stakeholder comments for Design Managers.
• Develop reports, dashboards and status communications for milestones, budgets and risks.
• Assist with budget and schedule development and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Assist with design-management activities toward a future Design Manager role.
