The American Heart Association is hiring a Temporary Development Coordinator in New Jersey, a home-based, short-term full-time role ending 10/16/2026. You’ll support operations data management across event systems, process payments in the financial system, and collaborate with teams on essential tasks to advance our mission.

You’ll gain access to Heart U and training resources, with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree or some college is a plus.
• At least one year of experience in administrative work, project coordination, and/or event management systems with strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; advanced level preferred and testable.

Responsibilities

• Configure custom event notifications for participants using the Givergy platform for about 70 events.
• Manage communication with event teams on website build tickets and track progress for timely completion.
• Create and maintain detailed project tracking spreadsheets in Excel with progress updates and decisions.
• Code invoices with financial coding and enter into Oracle Cloud for vendor payments.
