Qualifications

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree or higher.
• P.E. license is required.
• 2–10+ years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in failure analysis and forensic consulting preferred.
• Project management or field investigation experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs failure analysis for forensic assignments within mechanical engineering scope.
• Investigates origin, failure mechanism, and root cause of incidents.
• Inspects sites/equipment; performs data retrieval and 3D documentation; conducts analyses.
• Reviews codes, drawings, and manuals to evaluate design and maintenance compliance.
• Conducts industrial safety and equipment design analyses; supports fire/explosion investigations.
