Job summary

Unique Escapes, a travel business focused on personalized, high-quality experiences, seeks a motivated Event Destination Specialist to plan group travel, destination celebrations, corporate retreats, incentive trips, and special events.

This remote role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, travel research, building client relationships, and turning a client's vision into a well-organized travel experience.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a warm, professional tone.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, clients and deadlines independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, email tools, calendars and travel platforms.
• Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated remote workspace.
• Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, event planning or travel is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and follow up with leads for destination weddings, group trips and corporate events.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand client preferences, goals and budgets.
• Research destinations, venues, cruises and packages aligned with client needs.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and itineraries with clear value and inclusions.
• Present options clearly and guide clients through booking with professionalism.
• Maintain strong client relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Record sales activities, proposals, payments and deadlines in the CRM.
• Coordinate travel logistics such as group accommodations and transfers.
• Follow up to move opportunities forward and close bookings.
• Maintain accurate client records and booking details.
