Actalent is seeking a Design Manager to lead the development and governance of design templates for technologically advanced facilities. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with architecture, engineering, and operations, and drive efficient, buildable designs aligned with future technologies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, design reviews, and strategic problem solving across master planning to energy facilities, with a focus on cost reduction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture required.
• 10+ years in architecture or technical design roles.
• IBC analysis and application experience in design.
• Strong architectural design skills for complex facilities.
• Experience producing complete construction documentation for permitting.
• Solid project management and scheduling skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-design stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam for review and collaboration.
• Experience with BIM 360 for modeling and coordination.
• Familiarity with CAD tools for detailed design.
• Aviation and airport planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to create efficient, economical building designs across programs.
• Develop and govern design standards and templates for advanced facilities.
• Coordinate design standards with site plans and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Align designs with internal stakeholders across operations, design and engineering.
• Participate in workshops to reduce costs and improve associate experience.
• Collaborate with third-party architects and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
• Model excellence in collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
