Actalent seeks a Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical designs and lead project teams across Educational, Mission-Critical, Retail, and Datacenter projects. You will balance hands-on design with coordination across multi-discipline teams in a design-build environment.

The role emphasizes quality, client relationship-building, and long-term project backlogs, with remote-working options and a strong emphasis on autonomy and growth within a large, established firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical design leadership in building projects.
• Proficient in Revit for mechanical design and coordination.
• Experience with HVAC design and building systems integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design efforts across Educational, Mission-Critical, Retail, Datacenter, Federal, and Commercial projects.
• Manage project teams with day-to-day direction and coordination.
• Perform HVAC system design including layout and equipment sizing per codes.
• Develop and review design documents using Revit; coordinate drawings in AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to integrate mechanical with other systems.
