Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Design Manager for a remote nationwide role overseeing architectural and engineering design for large-scale industrial and manufacturing facilities.

The position requires coordination of external A&E firms and multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction documents, with travel to project sites as needed. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in architecture/design management, experience with large ground-up projects, and a track record

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in architecture, design management, or a related field.
• Experience with commercial, manufacturing, and/or industrial building design and development.
• Experience managing large-scale ground-up projects, ideally 250,000+ square feet.
• Experience coordinating external A&E firms and multidisciplinary design consultants.
• Ability to travel within the United States to project sites and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the architectural and engineering design process for large-scale, ground-up industrial and advanced manufacturing development projects.
• Serve as the owner's primary point of contact for external A&E firms.
• Select, engage, coordinate, and manage outside architects, engineers, design consultants, and multidisciplinary A&E teams.
• Establish and maintain project design schedules, milestones, deliverables, and coordination requirements.
• Lead design coordination from conceptual design and design development through construction documents and project handoff.
• Review drawings, specifications, and documents for alignment with requirements, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Identify design conflicts and risks and develop solutions with consultants.
• Manage design changes and evaluate impacts on cost and schedule.
• Travel nationally to project sites and meetings as project needs require.
