Job summary

Story Contracting is seeking a Design Coordinator to help coordinate safe, buildable designs from development through AFC. You will gather input from disciplines, monitor design deliverables, and resolve interfaces and comments with designers to reduce risks and rework.

You will champion design controls, maintain accurate records, and support timely decision-making while upholding our commitment to high-quality outcomes for clients across infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in design management or project delivery across construction, infrastructure, or engineering sectors.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and design assurance processes and seek clarifications.
• Strong organisational skills to track actions, records, and deadlines.
• Effective communication with project teams, consultants, and suppliers.
• Proactive in identifying issues and improving design processes.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 and health and safety in design.
• Willingness to learn new project systems and tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate input from multiple disciplines to deliver safe, buildable designs.
