Job summary

Go Fish Digital is seeking a motivated Design Apprentice to join our team remotely, working with Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, and Copywriters. You will gain hands-on experience across brand, digital, print, paid media, and social while building craft, confidence, and professional judgment.

You will learn how strategic thinking, visual design, writing, and production come together to create cohesive brand experiences across channels.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual thinking and foundation in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or related work.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Foundational understanding of typography, color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Interest in formats including brand identity, digital design, social, print, and campaigns.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows for research and ideation.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs critically, respecting client confidentiality and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Art Directors and Designers in concepting and producing brand deliverables across identity, UI/UX, print, and social.
• Create and adapt visual assets that are on-brand and channel-appropriate.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Copywriting to integrate storytelling visually.
• Participate in brainstorms, research, concept development, and design reviews.
• Assist with internal marketing materials and strategic projects as needed.
• Organize files and prepare production-ready assets, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Explore approved AI-assisted tools to support research, ideation, moodboarding, and efficient production workflows.
