Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage for dermatology patients. The role begins with in-office training at the Lebanon, TN location for 1–2 months, then transitions to fully remote work from home.

You will manage patient questions, relay emergent concerns, coordinate follow-up visits, and support providers with documentation and scheduling. Strong communication and EMS/EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and return voicemails and guide patients to the appropriate department.
• Identify stat or emergent situations and relay to providers.
• Communicate pathology and biopsy results and coordinate follow-up visits or minor procedures.
• Process refills efficiently and accurately.
• Navigate EMA/EMR systems to update charts and documentation.
• Schedule new patient appointments and create patient charts.
