Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Area Business Manager, Dermatology for Illinois. This field role concentrates on engaging Dermatology practices and delivering clinically focused selling messages to drive revenue growth and meet brand goals for Atopic Dermatitis and related conditions.

The ABM will Partner with Medical and Field teams, navigate payer and access dynamics, and travel within the territory to build lasting relationships with physicians, office staff, and thought leaders while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product‑related information.
• Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary.
• Proven success with strong sales performance in complex markets within compliance guidelines.
• Ability to operate as a team player with internal colleagues to reach goals.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Engage Dermatology/Immunology customers within assigned geographical territory and deliver clinically focused message to introduce, launch, grow brand-share and revenue and to consistently deliver on product goals for atopic dermatitis and other dermatological indications.
• Collaborate with field-based stakeholders to address customer needs, identify market dynamics, develop strategies to support brand objectives, and ensure account success within the territory.
• Develop relationships with Dermatology experts, coordinators, office staff and patient advocacy groups.
• Drive results by identifying opportunities and developing strategic plans to grow territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
• Maximize budget to support strategies and generate growth.
• Participate in industry congresses, local meetings and medical conferences.
• Own opportunities within the territory, coordinating with large group practices and key targets.
• Establish relationships with thought leaders to drive customer value.
