Job summary

Sardine is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to collaborate closely with the CISO and advance the security program as the company grows. This pivotal role requires broad experience in application security, compliance, and risk management, making strong leadership and communication skills essential.

You will manage security initiatives, build trust with enterprise customers, and ensure the implementation of security best practices while engaging cross-functionally with various teams.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Broad security background across multiple domains, not single specialty.
• Strong application security experience and ability to assess technical risk.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CISO on security strategy, roadmap, and execution.
• Identify, prioritize, and address highest-risk areas.
• Support security reporting, budgeting, and compliance initiatives.
