Job summary

Commerce is seeking an experienced VP, Chief Information Security Officer to lead our information security, compliance, and cyber risk program across our SaaS platforms and corporate systems. You will direct a multi-location team, partnering with product, engineering, legal, privacy, and executives to align security with business objectives.

The role requires strong leadership in a cloud-first, security-minded SaaS environment, with a hybrid work model in Austin/Atlanta and a market pay range

Qualifications

• Proven background leading information security within SaaS or platform oriented global companies.
• Strong understanding of security in cloud-based, microservices environments.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Define and lead cybersecurity and GRC strategy, including policies, standards, and programs.
• Oversee security investigations and incident response, including executive updates and post incident actions.
• Design security systems, IAM policies, and GRC procedures for a secure SaaS environment.
• Maintain awareness of cyber threats and risks to SaaS, cloud, and ecommerce.
• Translate regulatory and customer requirements into actionable plans.
