Job summary

Recidiviz is hiring a Deployment Strategist to join our State Engagement team. We're a small, fast-moving group that partners with state Departments of Corrections to safely and equitably reduce incarceration, and we are now building the systems those agencies run on: time computation, classification, intake, and moves management.

That's where you come in: translating policy into practice and earning trust with staff and leaders.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience implementing an enterprise or government system and living through go-lives.
• Experience in a small, scrappy team and building repeatable processes.
• Familiarity with corrections policy writing and change: regulations, statutes, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the deployments, internally and externally, owning the plan, cadence, and sequencing across multiple teams.
• Map landing requirements and run the change with policy-to-procedure crosswalks, readiness checklists, and staff communications.
• Build and hold the operational middle, serving 50–150 staff and developing local champions for trust scaling.
• Make the next deployment easier by creating reusable playbooks, templates, and patterns.
