Job summary

Winning Assistants is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist (Dental) for a part-time remote role in the United States. The position runs 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM PT, Monday to Friday, focused on submitting claims, verifying eligibility, and managing accounts receivable to ensure accurate reimbursement.

Dental billing experience is preferred; medical billing experience is acceptable. Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Open Dental and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous medical or dental billing experience is required.
• Knowledge of claims submission, accounts receivable, and insurance verification.
• Experience with Eaglesoft or Open Dental preferred.
• Proficient in English and able to communicate with patients and insurers.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Submit dental insurance claims through electronic submission systems.
• Help transition the practice from manual to electronic claims processing.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Maintain billing records and provide admin support; communicate with patients and insurers.
