Winning Assistants seeks a Medical Billing & Cross‑Coding Specialist (Oral Surgery) to manage billing workflows remotely. You will process claims, cross‑code dental and medical procedures, and review clinical documentation to ensure accurate submissions.

This role supports reimbursement, maintains records, and collaborates with providers and staff in a fast‑paced practice. The ideal candidate has dental/medical billing experience, strong HIPAA knowledge, and precise communication in English.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical billing and dental cross‑coding is required.
• Experience supporting oral surgery or dental practices is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of billing workflows and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process medical claims accurately for oral surgery procedures.
• Perform cross‑coding between dental and medical insurance.
• Review documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing submission.
• Support insurance reimbursement processes and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed.
• Assist with claim follow‑ups and reimbursement tracking.
