Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. seeks a Manager of Resource & Capacity Planning to own the demand-capacity forecast for 800+ active and pipeline renewable energy projects.

Reporting to the EVP, you will craft and maintain resourcing plans and coordinate scheduling conflicts across disciplines at the executive level. The role balances rigorous forecasting with cross-functional collaboration, including Finance, Client Services, and Business Development, to optimize staffing and budgeting in a dynamic

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years in professional services operations, resource planning, or project operations.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a demand-capacity or resource forecast used by leadership to make staffing decisions.
  • Fluency in professional services economics and backlog quality.
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel and model-building from incomplete data.
  • Clear and persuasive communication with executives and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work at strategic and detailed levels, cross‑functionally.
  • Experience using AI tools to support analysis and reporting workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own the rolling demand-capacity forecast across active projects, backlog, and pipeline.
  • Maintain WBS and planned hours across portfolios; convert pipeline into capacity demand.
  • Model planned-hours burn and capacity exposure by project and portfolio.
  • Translate utilization metrics into hiring indicators and staffing recommendations.
  • Provide capacity inputs to support proposal pricing decisions.
  • Coordinate with Business Development to weight prospective projects in the forecast.
  • Facilitate weekly resourcing meetings to resolve staffing conflicts.
  • Act as intake point for capacity requests and escalate conflicts as needed.
  • Maintain plan-versus-actuals variance reporting across the portfolio.
