Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Load Planning Manager to contribute to our global fleet of generators and turbines. You will lead demand forecasting, coordinate capacity planning with internal factories, and drive stock management for critical components.

The role emphasizes cross-functional teamwork with Sales, Product Management and engineering, and requires the ability to translate capacity data into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar required.
• 5+ years of power generation experience or other similar industries.
• Product knowledge of Generator or Steam turbines.
• Production planning, forecasting and customer service skills with planning systems integration.
• Experience with IT applications such as MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, Tableau, Mendix.

Responsibilities

• Lead demand planning / forecasting and drive the optimization of forecast accuracy.
• Coordinate mid and long term planning as well as slot allocation with internal factories including prioritization when needed.
• Develop scenario plans to ensure all available projects can be served.
• Lead the inventory planning for major components and a robust risk stock planning including yearly inventory budget process.
• Communicate production capacity, capability and the lead-time to the internal customer and align with factories & supply teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners, e.g. Sales, Product Management and factories to develop and implement customer service improvements.
