Job summary

Beyond Finance is seeking a Negotiations Escalations Specialist to coordinate negotiations on delinquent accounts with law firms, aiming to minimize legal action and maximize client savings. You will translate summons and complaints into informed negotiation strategies within a strict compliance framework.

The role requires sharp communication, relationship-building, and comfort under deadlines. Base salary is complemented by commission and full-time health benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field or relevant work experience.
• Exceptional communication skills across listening, verbal and written channels.
• Proven success in a metrics-driven, KPI-focused environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong teamwork and client-focused mindset.
• Passion for helping others and community-oriented culture.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with attorneys and paralegals to negotiate delinquent accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, including litigated matters or imminent legal action.
• Consolidate debt information to improve negotiation leverage.
• Secure favorable terms such as reduced balances or extended timelines.
• Demonstrate time management and multitasking to handle queues.
• Handle 25–35 calls daily with substantial phone time.
• Review legal documents to assess status and settlement readiness.
• Contribute to additional duties and special projects as needed.
• Meet or exceed monthly settlement and compliance goals.
