Job summary

Proven Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a DBT Consultant to join a central data team on a contract basis. This remote role prefers US-based candidates and Eastern Time hours. You will own Snowflake/DBT modeling from end to end, working directly with customers and product teams to deliver well-structured data and scalable solutions.

You will lead projects, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and shape how data is used across products, ensuring high-quality delivery in a dynamic, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of hands-on Snowflake and DBT experience.
• A track record of owning and leading projects, not just maintaining pipelines.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub, CI/CD).
• Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own DBT modeling work in Snowflake from pipeline through delivery, building new solutions from scratch.
• Partner directly with customers and product teams to gather requirements and turn them into reliable, well-modeled data.
• Lead projects end to end and help shape how products use their data.
• Use modern AI tools and CI/CD practices to build faster and keep quality high.
