Job summary

Go Fractional is seeking a Senior DBT/Snowflake Developer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines transforming financial, tax, and revenue data into analytics-ready datasets. This remote role aligns to Eastern Time hours and supports audit-ready reporting.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in data roles, 3+ years building dbt models on Snowflake, and strong SQL, data modeling, and Tableau skills. SOX controls experience is preferred for governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering/analytics engineering/BI roles with at least 3 years building production dbt models on Snowflake.
• Working understanding of financial data, tax and revenue reporting, and internal controls (e.g., SOX).
• Advanced SQL with Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau.
• Strong data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data quality practices.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and strong communicational skills.
• Proactive in streamlining workflows and providing analytics support to business teams.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit-ready data.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable dbt models in Snowflake for financial, tax, and revenue data.
• Develop and optimize ELT pipelines and automate data extraction from source systems.
• Build and support Tableau dashboards and data sources for finance, tax, and accounting.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely, reconciled data.
• Provide data, documentation, and extracts for audits.
• Implement and maintain SOX-aligned controls within the data environment.
• Maintain data lineage, documentation, and automated data quality tests.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and support finance and tax teams.
• Monitor and tune Snowflake performance and troubleshoot issues.
