Job summary

Signature Performance seeks a Database Administrator III for a remote/nationwide role in the United States. You will manage production and non-production databases, tune T-SQL, perform backups, and support SDLC with 24/7 on-call rotation for mission-critical systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of DBA experience, strong SQL Server skills, and familiarity with Cognizant/TriZetto Facets. Azure experience is a plus; strong problem-solving and independent collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree and five years of database administration preferred.
• If no degree, a minimum of seven years of experience in database administration.
• Knowledge of Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model is a huge plus.
• Ability to create T-SQL scripts required.
• Experience with PowerShell and SSIS/SSRS/SSAS.
• Azure experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• T-SQL performance tuning to resolve day-to-day production issues.
• Perform configuration, scripting, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration.
• Ensure service level agreements are met for internal and external clients.
• Off-hour production support and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Communicate with technical and business teams and auditors.
• Backups, point-in-time restores, maintenance plans for mission-critical apps.
• Support SDLC components and provide cross-training to junior DBAs.
