Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Database Administrator III for a remote, nationwide role. You will support both production and non-production databases, guiding SQL Server solutions and maintaining high availability across enterprise systems.

The role involves tuning, scripting, maintenance planning, and collaboration with technical and business teams. Applicants should have 5+ years DBA experience or 7 years without a degree, with Cognizant/TriZetto familiarity as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree required; five years DBA experience preferred.
• Alternatively seven years DBA experience without a degree.
• Experience with Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model is a plus.
• Ability to create T-SQL scripts is required.
• Experience with SQL Server native tools and third-party tools for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform T-SQL tuning to resolve production issues.
• Configure, script, install, monitor, upgrade, and administer database systems.
• Ensure SLAs for internal and external clients.
• Provide off-hour production support and 24/7 on-call rotations.
