A-Logistics LLC in the United States is seeking a part-time Data Scientist to transform logistics and business-support data into decision-ready analysis, predictive insights, and actionable recommendations for our fast-moving remote operation.

You will analyze shipment, warehousing, and KPI data; build models; partner with BI and operating stakeholders; and present insights clearly in async-friendly formats. This role offers flexible remote scheduling and direct visibility to leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or applied modeling roles.
• Strong command of Python, SQL, and practical data modeling workflows.
• Experience with operational, commercial, or finance-adjacent datasets rather than purely academic projects.
• Ability to explain statistical findings clearly to operations and leadership stakeholders in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shipment, warehousing, reporting, and business-support data for patterns and opportunities.
• Build and refine predictive or descriptive models to support planning and service quality decisions.
• Partner with BI and operating stakeholders to improve KPI logic and reporting depth.
• Translate business questions into structured analysis plans with outputs useful for action.
• Present insights, caveats, and recommendations for remote teams in async-friendly formats.
