Job summary

Socure is seeking a Data Scientist (DS-II) for the Client Analysis team to work remotely from the USA. You will develop models, analyze massive datasets, and craft data stories that illustrate risk management value for customers throughout pre- and post-sales cycles.

You will partner with go-to-market teams to drive revenue, communicate complex algorithms to non-technical audiences, and contribute to the next generation of Socure’s core models and tooling in a remote startup environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in data science, data analysis, or analytics engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ML methods (supervised/unsupervised).
• Proficient Python coding for large datasets.
• SQL querying experience.
• Experience with cloud tools (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to translate complex models for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication and remote work discipline.
• Experience in identity verification or fraud prevention is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large customer datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Explain model performance and value to customers.
• Create data stories and dashboards to support sales decisions.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to identify upsell opportunities.
