Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement, maintain, and support data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. You will work with PowerShell and Python to automate deployments and contribute to policies and standards, collaborating with senior engineers to strengthen security posture.

The role requires extensive DLP experience, knowledge of Purview/ForcePoint/BigID/Varonis, and familiarity with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms, deploying DLP and DSPM
• Design and implement data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Configure data protection policies and tuning
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance
