Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. You will implement, maintain, and support data protection infrastructure and applications across on-prem and cloud environments, working with DLP and DSPM tools.

The role requires hands-on experience with Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, Windows and Linux, plus scripting in PowerShell or Python. You will analyze incidents, contribute to policies, and help advance security posture.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention and Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure components across platforms.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and tuning parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents with root cause analysis.
• Contribute to projects with testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to expand knowledge in data protection technologies.
• Stay current with data protection technologies, best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
