enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining DLP/DSPM infrastructure, incident response, and policy governance across on‑prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Proficiency with Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and scripting in PowerShell/Python is required. Ideal candidates will have strong collaboration skills, a security-first mindset, and experience building automation to improve deployment and

Competenze

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies
• 3 years of experience with at least two modern programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, BASH, PowerShell)
• 3 years of experience with cloud providers: GCP, AWS or Azure

Mansioni

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure and DSPM/DLP components.
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-prem and cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies and tuning parameters.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python).
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
