Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join our security team in the United States. You will implement, maintain, and support data protection infrastructure using DLP and DSPM tools such as Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and cloud platforms.

Collaboration with senior engineers and incident response teams is expected. The role requires hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, scripting (PowerShell/Python), and a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention.
• 5 years of experience with Information Security and Systems Analysis.
• 5 years of experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software's
• 5 years of experience with creating and managing DLP policies
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the organization's data protection infrastructure across various platforms and vendors, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of data protection solutions across on-premises and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across relevant platforms and tuning detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents with root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency.
• Stay current with evolving data protection technologies and compliance requirements.
