Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join a team focused on implementing and maintaining data protection infrastructure and applications. The role requires expertise in DLP, DSPM, and tools like Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID and Varonis, across Windows/Linux environments and cloud platforms.

The engineer will develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) and collaborate with senior engineers to maintain and improve data protection policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the organization's data protection infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, including DLP and DSPM solutions.
• Collaborate on the design and deployment of data protection solutions aligning with business requirements across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Configure and maintain data protection policies, including sensitive information types and detection parameters.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root-cause analysis for remediation.
• Assist with testing, implementation, and documentation of data protection projects and participate in project meetings.
