Job summary

WorkOS is hiring a Data Engineer to own and evolve the data platform—ingestion, orchestration, the dbt model layer, and governance—ensuring trusted data for dashboards and AI agents. You will partner with Product, RevOps, Finance, GTM, and Security to define metrics and uphold data quality across the warehouse.

You will own the infrastructure, RBAC, PII handling, and the reverse-ETL flow, championing reliable, scalable data solutions in a lean, agent-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production data platforms.
• Deep experience with Snowflake, dbt, and an orchestrator (Prefect, Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience running data systems in production: monitoring, alerting, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability, freshness, and scaling of ingestion and orchestration pipelines to land data in Snowflake.
• Design, build, and scale core dbt models (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for billing, CRM, and GTM reporting.
• Partner with Product, Finance, RevOps, and GTM to define metrics and codify them in the warehouse.
