Job summary

NikoHealth is a rapidly growing SaaS company transforming how DME and HME providers operate. You will be among the first data engineering hires, reporting to the CTO, and owning how data enters, leaves, and moves between databases.

Your first six months focus on building a tested, repeatable migration pipeline, obtaining CI coverage with dry-run capabilities, and defining input contracts for onboarding. This remote role requires US-based hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or data platform.
• Proficient in SQL with large tables on PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Built and operated production ingestion pipelines with idempotent design.
• Experience migrating customer data between systems with messy sources.

Responsibilities

• Get migration pipeline into version control and CI with dry-run and safe re-runs.
• Publish import contract for onboarding teams and customers.
• Quantify onboarding time with separate metrics for enterprise and SMB.
• Own database configuration, backup, and restore across the fleet.
• Plan consolidation of two database engines (MySQL and PostgreSQL) with a live bridge.
