Melotech is building a data-driven backend platform that powers media intelligence. You will own data collection, pipelines, and backend services across scalable architectures. Expect to design resilient, cost-aware systems and collaborate closely with engineers and product teams.

You will work in a fast-moving, fully remote setting with strong ownership, equity, and opportunities to shape the data backbone of our product. Prior experience with production data systems is essential.

Competenze

• 3–10 years of hands-on engineering in small or fast-growing companies.
• Proficient Python with async code and long-running data jobs.
• Backend experience with production services and APIs, plus JS/TS backends.
• Designs and maintains event-driven, fault-tolerant pipelines.
• Familiar with Datadog, Airflow/Dagster, and cloud-based tooling.
• Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, and ownership of data infrastructure.
• Ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical colleagues and mentor juniors.
• Strong fundamentals and ability to ship fast with clean code.

Mansioni

• Data collection: keep scrapers and platform integrations running with flaky sources.
• Pipelines and storage: own end-to-end pipelines, from orchestration to storage.
• Monitoring and reliability: build checks and alerts to catch issues early.
• Backend services: contribute to production services and APIs, including JS backends.
• Infrastructure and security: own CI/CD, IaC, cloud access and secrets.
• Simplification: consolidate sprawling systems into one documented platform.
• Cross-team collaboration: explain data capabilities to non-technical colleagues.
