Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a data migration and conversion specialist to build and maintain migration tools, tests, and deployment timelines. You will collaborate with project teams and customers to deliver data conversion solutions and ensure end-user objectives are met.

The role requires strong software development experience (C#, XML, Python, .NET) and solid SQL skills. The position is remote within the US with a base salary range of $85,000–$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in software disciplines: Systems Integration, Software Engineering, Product Development, System Test or IT.
• Experience in software development; experience with C#, XML, Python and .NET technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL).
• Strong experience in SQL query design and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data migration and conversion tools, test scripts, and deployment timelines.
• Collaborate, prototype, design, and implement data conversion solutions.
• Perform system integration of data migration solutions for customers and meet business objectives.
• Communicate with customers to fulfill end-user expectations and provide support.
• Summarize findings and deliver reports and written artifacts.
