Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a data migration specialist to build and maintain data migration and conversion tools, test scripts, and deployment timelines. You will collaborate with customers and project teams to ensure data migration solutions meet business objectives and end-user expectations.

The role requires strong software development experience (C#, XML, Python, .NET), plus SQL database design and object-oriented programming concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in software disciplines: systems integration, software engineering, product development, system test or IT.
• Experience with C#, XML, Python and .NET technologies.
• Hands-on SQL database design (MS SQL preferred) and experience with Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL query design and implementation; OO design understanding.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and work with customer integration teams.
• Familiarity with Agile software development, project management and business analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data migration and conversion tools, test scripts, and deployment timelines with the project team.
• Collaborate with customers to translate business needs into data migration solutions.
• Bridge customer requirements and our technical delivery, including documenting findings and outcomes.
• Perform system integration tasks and support triage with customer teams.
