Job summary

Raydar is seeking a data mapping engineer to own onboarding of client data into our platform, ensuring accurate mapping from source systems and timely issue resolution. You will diagnose data mapping problems, explain findings to non‑technical colleagues, and document repeatable processes to reduce manual work.

In this role you will collaborate with senior tech leaders to build checks and automation, while balancing onboarding with ongoing data troubleshooting in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Must map and onboard client data into a platform, with attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Experience translating technical findings for non-engineering teams.
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix data mapping issues and validate results.

Responsibilities

• Own the process of mapping each new client's source data into the platform.
• Diagnose and fix live data problems where fields don’t map or rules fail.
• Translate technical findings into plain explanations for client-facing teams.
• Document and formalize the data mapping process currently kept in team knowledge.
• Collaborate with senior technical leaders to build reusable checks, automation and governance.
• Balance onboarding work with troubleshooting as priorities shift.
