Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Specialist, Business Insights to transform data into actionable insights and scalable BI solutions. You will extract data across warehouses, build analyses in R/SAS/SQL/Python, and communicate findings to diverse business partners.

You’ll design dashboards in Power BI, model data in Snowflake, and partner with governance and engineering teams to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R; experience with Power BI and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from databases and build inferential analyses and models.
• Provide insights and present findings to business partners; create BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain enterprise BI dashboards and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align data needs with business goals.
• Lead projects and mentor others in data needs and reporting.
