Job summary

Housing Works provides remote and on-site support to clinical staff for electronic health record applications used across the organization. The technician handles tickets, troubleshoots hardware and software, and collaborates with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.

The role requires experience with EHR systems, strong communication, and the ability to travel to clinic locations in the New York City area. A healthcare setting background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s preferred in IT/health informatics/CS/healthcare administration.
• CompTIA certification (A+/Network+/Security+) preferred.
• 2–3 years of support experience in healthcare or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for EHR applications (eClinicalWorks, eICare, AIRS, eSHARE, etc.).
• Respond to access, errors, workflow questions, and data discrepancies.
• Investigate issues, document findings, and coordinate resolutions with vendors/IT teams.
• Create training materials and guides; maintain user accounts and permissions.
• Offer on-site and remote support and manage equipment inventory across clinics.
