Job summary

Mantech is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead enterprise data governance, data quality, and stewardship initiatives. The role emphasizes training, standards, and cross-functional collaboration, with a remote-first setup and occasional client-site travel.

You will build and sustain training programs, measure data health, and drive adoption of IDQ and data standards across the organization, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years in data governance.
• 5+ years in data governance with data stewardship and data literacy training.
• 2+ years of project management experience; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise data stewardship training program and empower data owners.
• Design and author data quality and stewardship training materials.
• Develop tutorials covering IDQ Analyst and LMS deployment.
• Roll out enterprise-wide governance training on the LMS and measure effectiveness.
• Support data quality pilots and present results to governance councils.
• Lead cross-functional groups to operationalize data standards and governance.
• Establish KPIs and executive dashboards to track data health and impact.
