SHI is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead governance initiatives across enterprise data estates. You will engage executive stakeholders, data leaders, and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs that establish trust, visibility, and control.

You will drive Microsoft Purview governance, metadata management, taxonomy design, data lineage, and stewardship operating models while advising organizations on governance readiness for analytics and AI platforms such

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Seven+ years of experience delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
Hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview, including metadata management and data lineage.
Experience establishing data stewardship programs and governance operating models.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise data governance strategy and architecture for client engagements.
Architect and oversee Microsoft Purview governance implementations (Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights).
Guide customers in governance readiness for Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and Copilot initiatives.
Design governance policies, business glossaries, taxonomy standards, and metadata management processes.
Lead customer-facing workshops and governance design sessions, with executive stakeholders.
