Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead governance strategy for enterprise data estates on client engagements.

You will partner with executives, data leaders, security and delivery teams to design and implement governance programs that establish trust and control across data assets. The role covers metadata management, business glossary design, taxonomy, data lineage, stewardship models, data quality and monitoring, plus Microsoft Purview implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science or related field.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data governance solutions with governance focus.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview including data catalog, metadata and lineage.
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs and governance adoption.
• Leading customer-facing consulting engagements, workshops and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance discovery workshops, maturity assessments, and roadmap discussions.
• Design enterprise governance frameworks, stewardship models, and metadata management.
• Architect Purview governance capabilities across Fabric, Azure Data Services, and Power BI.
• Advise executives and governance councils; translate business goals into governance solutions.
• Design monitoring and reporting using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; drive adoption.
