Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Data Engineering and Delivery Manager based in the United States. You will lead a distributed data engineering team, own the roadmap, and drive modernization initiatives across cloud data warehouses and CI/CD improvements.

Collaborating with data governance, BI leadership, and enterprise stakeholders, you will ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data capabilities while managing intake, backlog, and delivery with clear ownership and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-7 years in data engineering, data platforms, analytics delivery, or related disciplines.
• 2-4 years leading or managing technical teams.
• At least 2 years in Product Owner/PM/Delivery lead roles.
• Experience owning intake, backlog, and delivery decisions with stakeholders.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban/Scrumban) and flow metrics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Python, SQL, REST APIs, source control, CI/CD, data warehousing, ELT.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed Data Engineering team across countries/time zones.
• Own the Data Engineering roadmap and oversee major initiatives.
• Ensure reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines.
• Maintain production data feeds and cross-train to reduce dependency.
• Set engineering standards with governance and BI leadership.
• Ensure compliance with data handling/security regulations.
• Manage centralized intake for data requests with clear criteria.
• Maintain a single prioritized backlog for BI and Data Engineering.
• Communicate trade-offs and delivery plans to stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove impediments.
• Maintain Azure DevOps config, templates, and team wiki.
• Track delivery health metrics and risk signals.
• Represent data function in enterprise planning meetings.
