Job summary

DriveTime is seeking a Data Engineer to transform raw data into trusted, business-ready insights. You will build scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt Core and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to enable smarter decisions.

Responsibilities include developing ELT pipelines, automating data transformations with Python, and maintaining data quality and governance across the analytics ecosystem. Remote-friendly with strong enterprise data practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in BI/Analytics/Data Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with dbt Core and Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize dbt Core models in Snowflake.
• Design scalable data models supporting analytics and BI.
• Build and enhance ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Automate data transformations with Python and ensure data quality.
• Monitor Snowflake performance and optimize costs.
• Create testing frameworks, metadata, and data lineage docs.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to meet reporting needs.
• Support data governance initiatives and best practices.
