Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with DBT expertise to own internal DBT projects across modeling, tests, macros, docs, and exposures. You will work on data storage, ingestion, cleaning, and transformations in a cloud environment, ideally Snowflake, with a collaborative team across three time zones.

This is a fully remote role within the US. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in data engineering, 3+ years with DBT, and experience with cloud platforms, Snowflake, Databricks, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 3+ years with DBT
• Experience with cloud platforms and Snowflake
• Familiarity with Databricks and Python

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data projects from ingestion to modeling and validation
• Develop, maintain, and optimize DBT models, tests, macros, docs and exposures
• Collaborate with a small, cross-timezone team to establish data testing standards
