Job summary

Providence's Enterprise Information Services team seeks a Data Engineer I to design and build data-centric software supporting clinical and operational processes across the healthcare system.

You will develop data pipelines, transformations, and provisioning layers using cloud, big data, and modern software practices, with a focus on regular delivery and simple solutions to complex problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year related experience; 1-3 years preferred.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds modern data-centric software applications for clinical and operational needs.
• Builds data pipelines, transformations, enrichment processes, provisioning layers and interfaces.
• Collaborates with Product, Platform and Architecture teams to deliver joint efforts.
• Maintains meticulous source control and documentation.
