Job summary

PerfectServe is building a modern data platform by developing ingestion pipelines and transformation models across its product portfolio. You will work with a small, collaborative team to productionize data assets and contribute to architectural decisions that shape the data warehouse.

You will own end-to-end parts of the data stack, applying dimensional modeling techniques and ensuring data quality and reliability within a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• Production experience building data pipelines with ownership of at least some components.
• Strong SQL and a working programming language (Python, Go or equivalent).
• Hands-on dbt or another transformation framework.
• A cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift or similar.
• ELT and orchestration experience (Fivetran, Airflow or equivalent).
• Working AWS knowledge: object storage, networking basics, data movement understanding.
• Testing mindset for data quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines from production source systems.
• Write transformation models turning raw data into trusted datasets.
• Apply dimensional and medallion modeling patterns as the warehouse evolves.
• Deploy pipelines to production with proper tests and data quality checks.
• Contribute to data model and schema design and participate in design reviews.
• Document builds, including runbooks for owned pipelines.
